Journals

The center supports a number of editorial activities, including the work of a collaborating editor of Social Studies of Science, The Cambridge Companion to Weber, the Blackwell Guidebook to the Philosophy of Social Science, and other projects. Faculty affiliated with the center have had various important editorial roles, and there are numerous opportunities for editorial experience. John Jermier is the editor of Organization and Environment. The Ethics Center, which is adjacent to the Center for Social and Political Thought and also housed in the department of philosophy, edits the Journal of Social Philosophy. Hypatia, the journal of feminist philosophy, was until recently edited by faculty in the departments of Women’s Studies, Political Science, and Philosophy.
