ANNOUNCEMENT (FVA)
The FVA requires both Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications
for applicants. All other ads or announcements must reflect those qualifications
as well. By writing the FVA first you will have the language to construct
all other ads/announcements.
EAP ADVERTISING,
OTHER ADVERTISING AND/OR CONTACT SOURCES
The Department is expected to advertise the position broadly to attract
as diverse an applicant pool as possible. Departments should indicate
other ways in which the position will be announced. For instance, position
announcements could be sent to caucuses of the professional association
for the discipline; announcements could be sent to colleagues with a request
that they distribute it.
