Organic Chemistry Laboratory Instructor needed at New College of Florida for Fall 2008
An Organic Chemistry Laboratory Adjunct Instructor is needed for Fall Semester 2008 (Aug. 25 to Dec. 12). Responsibilities are to teach two sections of Chemistry Inquiry Laboratory, our first semester organic laboratory. The instructor would be responsible for giving the laboratory lecture and be involved in the direct lab instruction of two sections of up to 22-students. Support from a lab specialist and student teaching assistants will be provided.
New College of Florida is a small, highly-ranked honors college; we use narrative evaluations instead of grades. Ph.D. in chemistry and lab teaching experience required. For additional information contact prof. Suzanne Sherman 941-487-4376, sherman@ncf.edu, or scudder@ncf.edu.
