Missions and Goals

The GASAS exists to elevate gerontology and aging studies as a valued profession with the purpose of enhancing the welfare of elders.

Goal 1: Establish and sustain the Gerontology and Aging Studies Alumni Society.

Goal 2: Foster relationships between students, alumni, and the University, potential employers, and organizations concerned with elder issues.

Goal 3: Raise awareness of gerontology and aging studies as a valued profession.

Goal 4: Improve access to academic scholarships for USF students in the field.
