Mission

The office of Business Services in the College of Arts & Sciences is dedicated to supporting our academic departments, centers and institutes with the management of both financial and human resources. Our office is committed to reducing the effort consumed on administrative tasks so that more of the staff’s time and energy can be directly focused on the instructional, scholarly and research needs of our faculty and students. We strive to go beyond day-to-day transactional processing to identify university business practices that can be redesigned to work more efficiently, foster collaborative working relationships with the central administrative offices and seek opportunities to shape the academic business environment we work in.
