Introduction

The Integrated Interdisciplinary Nanoscience REU will not be held this Summer, 2006. The REU program was held the past three years (2003-2005). During this ten-week REU program, undergraduate students were exposed to state-of-the-art materials science/nanotechnolgy research in an interdisciplinary environment. The program was housed in the Department of Chemistry and consists of faculty mentors from the Departments of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Physics. Students received housing, meals, travel costs and a stipend.

Within these pages you will find information about the research projects, the faculty mentors, the schedule, and housing and facilities as well as other information for this program that occurred in 2003 to 2005.
