On-line Declaration of
Major or
Change of Major and
Change of Catalog
The College of Arts and Sciences welcomes you to the on-line
declaration of major and change of major request
web site; you are limited to one (1) change/request
per semester. Once
you submit your online form, the College will process your request and
if this is your initial declaration of major in the College of Arts and
Sciences, you will receive an updated SASS report reflecting your new major.
Change of Major in the College
This application allows you to add a major within our college. To change your
major outside the College of Arts and Sciences, you will need to complete the change of major form in BEH201. You will not receive an updated SASS report.
Declaration of Major
The online process allows you to select from a list of the majors/tracks/programs
offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. If more than one major/track/program
is desired, be sure to make the selection on the online declaration. Students
are permitted to declare a maximum of three majors/tracks/programs in the
College. In addition, there are several pre-professional science programs
that do not lead to completion of a baccalaureate degree. These are only
offered following your selection of a major.
Double Majoring Between Two Colleges
If you are interested in double majoring between two Colleges (i.e. Chemical Engineering & Mathematic or Accounting & Public Relations, and/or, etc.) complete this form. Do not complete the online declaration of major. Please complete this form and turn it in to BEH 201; or fax it to (813) 974-4075.

Liberal Studies, Mass Communications
and Social Work require departmental approval before we can finalize your acceptance
into the programs. Although the Communication and Biology departments are not
limited access programs, they do have restrictive admission requirements.
Note: If you select a major that is a limited access major, you will be classified
as a pre-major until you meet the requirements.
