The following courses are required by the University of Florida Dental School (check other dental schools for their prerequisites) in addition to the prerequisites for all health professions section:

  • General Psychology: PSY 2012
  • Biochemistry: BCH 3023/L
  • Genetics: PCB 3063/L

Additional Prerequisites for Veterinary School

The following courses are required by the University of Florida Veterinary School (the only veterinary school in Florida; check other schools for their prerequisites) in addition to the prerequisites for all health professions section:

  • General Microbiology: MCB 3020C

  • Statistics: STA 2023
  • Biochemistry: BCH 3023
  • Calculus: MAC 2311
  • Animal Sciences: ANS 3006C and ANS 3440 (offered at the University of Florida). Check with the University of Florida for a list of other schools that offer equivalent courses.

Additional Prerequisites for Chiropractic School

  • Palmer College (Florida Campus) and many other schools require Psychological Sciences I: PSY 2012 in addition to the prerequisites for all health professions section.

Additional Prerequisites for Podiatric Medical School

The following courses are required for Barry University (check other Podiatric schools for their prerequisites) in addition to the prerequisites for all health professions section:

Pharmacy Schools require either 60 OR 90 hours of coursework completed for admission. The University of South Florida requires completion of 90 hours, with 72 of the hours being the prerequisite courses completed for admission into their Pharmacy School.
