We have secured an excellent rate for AAH registrants at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North. Rooms are available in two varieties: 1 king bed ($99 plus tax) and 2 double beds ($109 plus tax). Reservations must be made with the hotel by March 25, 2008. After this date, the hotel cannot insure that rooms will be available at the conference rate. The Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North is located in a quiet area overlooking a nature preserve near I-75 and the USF main campus. The hotel provides free parking and has an outdoor heated pool, whirlpool and small fitness center. Each room includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and a free high speed internet connection. The hotel is close to the USF golf course, Busch Gardens, the Museum of Science and Industry and Lettuce Lake Park (a nature preserve with canoe rental). It is a 20 minute drive to Ybor City (Tampa's original cigar-making center and current "bar scene"), Channelside district--where cruise ships dock, and the Florida Aquarium. In 60 minutes or less, you can reach Gulf beaches, Tarpon Springs (Greek sponge-diving community), Disney World and other Orlando attractions.
