Memorial Lecture Series

The Ward Stavig Memorial Lecture Series commemorates the achievements of USF Professor Ward Stavig.  His many studies and published works greatly advanced the field of Latin American History, and made him both a widely respected and admired scholar and a wonderful asset to the University of South Florida.  Every year, the History Department will select a prominent scholar to deliver a public lecture on a topic of interest to the department, the university, and the community at large.
