GIVING TO THE HUMANITIES INSTITUTE
The events sponsored by the Humanities Institute depend upon donations given by individuals and charitable organizations.It is through these donations that the Institute strives to provide a stimulating intellectual environment for dialogue about ourselves, our relationships with each other, and the ways in which we can all contribute to the moral and social progress of our global society.Please join with other donors and supporters to assist the Institute in fulfilling its mission.
The Humanities Institute’s major INITIATIVES:
A public distinguished lecture series featuring contemporary Humanities Scholars
Interdisciplinary seminars in which faculty from the liberal arts, sciences, and
humanities will discuss societal issues from a variety of perspectives
A visiting scholars program that will give renowned scholars the opportunity for
short-term visits or long-term appointments to the Institute.
A Humanities Research Series in which faculty in Humanities who have recently
published books in the Humanities discussing their methods and approaches to
research for those books.
Ways to donate to the Institute:
Write a check payable to the USF Foundation with a designation of
“The Humanities Institute” and send to: The Humanities Institute, FAO201

Make a one-time gift or a pledge online by visiting USF’s website at www.giving.usf.edu and designate in the following order (1) “Tampa Campus” (2) “College of Arts and Sciences” and (3) “The Humanities Institute.”

charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities that pay income
