World Languages--Language Lab

The World Languages--Language Lab is located in CPR 119, directly behind Subway. We have 27 student computers and offer free printing to students completing projects for their foreign language classes.

Also available in the lab are listening cds for the majority of the languages offered at USF. Just ask the student worker at the front desk for the cds that you need.

Recent Lab Improvements

A master station was recently installed in the lab. This station consists of a master computer equipped with a CD and DVD burner, a scanner, a DVD player, a worldwide VCR all connected to a computer projector. This station is ideal for presenting multimedia materials to a class or can even be used as a venue for students to display class projects.

Any professor, adjunct, or teaching assistant wishing to receive training on this new system should contact Robert Summers, the supervisor of the lab.

Documents detailing how to use the equipment in the lab are located here.

The lab is available for any professor, adjunct, or teaching assistant to use as a classroom. To make a reservation please call 974-3748 and the student assistant will be happy to assist you.

STUDENTS, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE LAB. ALSO PRINTING IS LIMITED TO 10 PAGES PER STUDENT PER DAY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
