I will only respond to
requests for letters of recommendation if I have the following information:
1) Copy of a letter written
to a newspaper or legislator (state or federal) on public policy during the
last 12 months. Your letter may support any political preference, but I do
want to know that those I recommend are engaged and active in the democratic
process.
2) Please tell me about
your involvement in local, state or national professional activities outside
your current place of employment. Although I expect these would be listed
on your resume, I’d like to know a little more about what you are doing.
3) Updated resume; e-copy.
4) Names and dates of
classes you took with me.
5) Names of major papers
done for classes with me.
