USF Humanities Institute to host Stampede of Culture

TAMPA, Fla. -- The University of South Florida Humanities Institute is partnering with the Humanities and Cultural Studies Organization (HSCO) to host the annual jazz festival, Stampede of Culture, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 at the MSC Amphitheater.

This annual event aims to promote awareness of the organization’s work while drawing people out for an evening of great music.

There will be live music from USF’s Jazz Ensemble, as well as student organization’s tables including thread magazine, the University Film and Video Production, Sisters Untied Muslims Association, Christians in Action and the Student Theatre Production Board.

Free food and drinks will be provided along with information on the history and cultural significance of jazz music.
