USF Botanical Gardens to host Beginners Bonsai Workshop

TAMPA, Fla. -- The University of South Florida Botanical Gardens will host the Hukyu Bonsai Society’s presentation of Introduction to Bonsai Workshop. This will be a 2-hour hands-on workshop from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 22.

The workshop will be presented by members of the Hukyu Bonsai Society. All supplies will be provided in class. Participants will take home their own bonsai creation from the workshop and bonsai tool and beginner bonsai book.

The charge for this workshop is $65 for general public; $55 for USF Botanical Gardens members. Reservations are required. Class size is limited so register early. For more information call (813) 974-2329 or visit www.cas.usf.edu/garden. The gardens are located at 12210 USF Pine Dr., Tampa.
