Spanish Fair 2013 highlights Hispanic, Latino culture[03.18.2013]
TAMPA, Fla. -- The University of South Florida Department of World Languages is hosting the sixth annual Spanish Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 19, 2013 in the USF College of Education TECO Room.
Spanish Fair 2013 will showcase graduate and undergraduate Spanish programs in the USF and Tampa communities, and present an opportunity for academic exchanges and collaborations. The event will feature presentations about the diverse regions and cultures of the Hispanic world, as well as bookstands, videos, music and food.
The event will be highlighted by presentations from Lydia Guzman of Infomás TV, Heike Scharm, Ph.D., the CANFF, Unidos Now and the Mexican Consulate of Orlando. It also will feature presentations from professors and advisers within the department.
The event is free and open to the public.
