IB student receives prestigious award
TAMPA, Fla. -- University of South Florida IB student Amber Ferguson was awarded the Guy Harvey Student Scholarship Award. This scholarship is a competitive fellowship of which there were 52 applicants. Ferguson is studying strike and bite force of king mackerel as well as the functional morphology of their feeding. She is a master’s student in the lab of Philip Motta in the Department of Integrative Biology.
