CAS professor awarded NSF CAREER Award
TAMPA, Fla. – A University of South Florida assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry recently received a National Science Foundation CAREER Award.
Shengqian Ma, Ph.D. received the prestigious NSF CAREER Award entitled “CAREER: Development of Mesoporous Metal-Organic Frameworks as a New Type of Platform for Enzyme Immobilization.” The award is for $575,000 during 5 years.
Ma’s research specializes in metal-organic frameworks, porous organic polymers, microporous carbon materials and fuel cells.
