USF Botanical Gardens to host beekeeping workshops

TAMPA, Fla.--The USF Botanical Gardens will be hosting four beekeeping workshops this fall.

Sept. 18: Integrated Pest Management, Best Management Practices, Controlling DPP
Oct. 16: Queens and Re-queening
Nov. 20: Keeping the Hive Alive through Winter
Dec. 11: Preparing for Spring

All workshops will start at 10 a.m. at the USF Botanical Gardens and cost $10 per ticket, $8 for USFBG members. Pre-registration is required by calling 813.910.3274.

The USF Botanical Gardens are located at 12210 USF Pine Dr., Tampa.
