Ticket information for Dr. Jane Goodall event

TAMPA, Fla. –- Jane Goodall, Ph.D., DBE, the scientist behind the landmark study of chimpanzee behavior and a leader of environmental conservation, will be speaking at the University of South Florida at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at the USF Sun Dome. The College of Arts and Sciences is sponsoring the event in collaboration with the Frontier Forum lecture series and the University Lecture Series.

In her lecture, Goodall, a U.N. Messenger of Peace, will discuss her experiences in nature and her enthusiasm for botany, sharing simple goals everyone can take to protect nature. Following her lecture, there will be a question and answer segment moderated by Eric Eisenberg, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Guests can tweet questions for Goodall to @USFCollege and use #DrGoodallAtUSF.

Ticket Information
The event is free for current USF students; however, students must reserve their tickets in advance. For USF faculty, staff, alumni and general public, tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 800-745-3000 or at the USF Sun Dome Box Office.

Instructions for Student Tickets

  1. Go to http://www.GoUSFBulls.com, scroll over the “Tickets” tab and click on “Student Tickets.” (Mozilla Firefox is recommended when using your online account and requesting tickets.)
  2. Enter your account number and password then click “Continue.” Account Number: This is your “U”; however, the U should be replaced by a “9”. For example, if your U-Number is U12345678, then your account number is 912345678. Password: Your default password is the last 6 digits of the 16 digit number on your Student ID that begins with 6400.
  3. Click “Student Tickets” located in the middle of your account homepage.
  4. Click “View Items” next to “2014 USF Student Tickets.”
  5. For the “USF College of Arts and Sciences Presents Dr. Jane Goodall” event, select your ONE free student ticket and click “Add to Cart.”
  6. Select Delivery method of “TicketFast” then click “Checkout.”
  7. Review your order, read the “Terms of Use” and check the corresponding box, and click “Submit Order.”
  8. Click “Print Tickets” to print your voucher then bring it to the Sun Dome Box Office to redeem for your ticket.
IMPORTANT: You need to bring your voucher to the Sun Dome Box Office to redeem it for your student ticket. Your voucher will not get you into the event.



Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the various levels of tickets?
Tickets starting at $50 and up: include early access at 5:30 p.m., premium seating and a pre-party including light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Tickets at $35 or below: doors open at 6 p.m. and includes your individual seat. Presentation begins at 7 p.m.

How do I get my free USF student ticket?

How do USF students redeem their voucher?

  1. 1. Print your voucher/ticket from your My USF Bulls Student Account.
  2. 2. Bring the voucher to the Sun Dome Box Office (located at Gate A of the arena) to redeem for your actual ticket to the event.
  3. 3. You may purchase tickets for non-student guests at the same time as your redeem your voucher.
  4. 4. For students and non-students who wish to sit together, please redeem/purchase your tickets together.
  5. 5. For Box Office hours and additional information, please call 813-974-3004.

If I’m getting a free USF student ticket, how can I sit with a non-USF student?
Following the steps described above, print your voucher and redeem it at the Sun Dome Box Office. Any non-USF students who want to sit with you should purchase their event tickets when you redeem your voucher so that your seats can be grouped together.

How many free tickets do USF students get?
Only one ticket per USF student can be requested. Limited seating is available. Please reserve and redeem your voucher as soon as possible. You must redeem your voucher for an actual ticket to have a guaranteed seat at the event.

If I’m getting a free USF student ticket, how can I sit with someone who purchased a ticket?
All seats are assigned. The only way for a student to sit next to someone who bought a ticket is for the student to redeem their voucher when the ticket was purchased at the Sun Dome Box Office.

I’m a USF student. How can I sit with my friends who are USF students at this event?
All seats are assigned. To have your seats assigned together, please redeem your vouchers at the Sun Dome Box Office at the same time. You can also gather your friends’ vouchers and redeem them for seats located together (individual USF Student voucher holders do not need to be present).
