Annual “Grad Cap” contest to begin for spring graduates

TAMPA, Fla. -- As commencement quickly approaches, the College of Arts and Sciences begins preparation for the annual “Grad Cap” contest. The contest, sponsored by the Dean's Student Leadership Society, will begin April 20, 2015 for all USF Bulls graduating this May.

The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015. Spring 2015 graduates can submit pictures of their decorated graduation caps via Instagram and Twitter. To participate, graduates must follow us @USFCollege on Instagram or follow us on Twitter @USFCollege. For Instagram users, upload a picture of your decorated cap and tag the college (@USFCollege) and use the hashtag #USFGrad. For Twitter users, tweet us your cap photo to @USFCollege and use the hashtag #USFGrad.

There will be five categories on which caps will be judged: Funniest cap, best use of glitter, most heartwarming, most Bull pride and a grand prize winner. The College of Arts and Sciences staff will judge the caps and the winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 7, 2015.

The grand prize winner will receive a USF Bulls Alumni license plate frame and a “Keep Calm and Go Bulls” T-shirt. The winner of “Most Bull Pride” will receive a Rocky the Bull bobblehead. The other three winners will receive a “Keep Calm and Go Bulls” poster.
