CAS alumnus sworn in as president of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections[06.22.2015]
TAMPA, Fla. -- Brian Corley, a graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at the University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences and Supervisor of Elections for Pasco County was sworn in as president of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections for 2015-2016 at the 2015 Annual Summer Conference. The conference took place in Osceola County during the 50th anniversary of the association that represents Florida’s 67 counties.
“I feel truly honored to lead the hardworking, professional Supervisors of Elections that comprise our great state,” said Corley, who also serves as a member of the USF Public Administration Advisory Board. “This past year while serving as chair of the FSASE Legislative Committee, we as an association, were instrumental in getting legislation passed that will allow online voter registration. In my capacity as president of the association, I will work diligently to ensure the state is making progress in implementing the online registration system.“
