English master’s student receives presidential doctoral fellowship[07.06.2016]
TAMPA, Fla. – USF rhetoric and composition M.A. student Andrew Hillen received the Presidential Doctoral Fellowship from Utah State University, where he will begin working toward his Ph.D. in the fall.
The fellowship includes grant writing support, annual meetings with the vice president of research and increased access to travel funds, as well as other research-oriented support structures.
Hillen’s M.A thesis is “The Ethos of Thucydides: Θουκυδίδης ξυνέγραψεν.” He plans to extend his thesis research while at USU while also opening new lines of inquiry into interesting areas of tactical technical communication.
