USF poet wins Georgia Poetry Prize[03/29/2019]
TAMPA, Fla. – The Creative Writing Program at USF is pleased to congratulate Chelsea Dingman, a poet and alumnae of USF's MFA program, for winning the 2018 Georgia Poetry Prize. Her collection “Through A Small Ghost” will be published by the University of Georgia press in February of 2020. Hearty congratulations also go to USF creative writing undergrad alum Andrew Hemmert, whose MFA is from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His manuscript “Sawgrass Sky” was the runner-up for this prestigious prize.
