USF FIOG program nominated for HEART Award
The John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government at the University of South Florida was named a finalist for a HEART Award for its Community Real Estate Development (CRED) program. The HEART Awards are a part of the Housing and Education Alliance, a HUD certified hosing counseling agency in the Tampa Bay Area.
USF CRED program to honor graduates
The Community Real Estate Development (CRED) program at the University of South Florida will be holding a reception for program graduates from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Ella at Encore Senior Residential Complex.
FIOG public safety program recognized by state officials
The Coordinated Community Anti Crime Initiative, a collaborative effort by the Florida Institute of Government, University of South Florida Police Department and the University Area Community Development Corp., was recently featured at state symposiums in Tallahassee and Jacksonville, highlighting the success of this program.
