Bonus Overview
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a Performance Bonus Program. This program
offers supervisors an avenue to nominate exemplary performers for a three thousand
dollar lump sum bonus. All nominations are reviewed by a committee which identifies
the top fifteen nominations. Those top fifteen are submitted to the Dean of the
College who then selects the top ten. The top ten nominees receive their award at
a ceremony held at the Staff Appreciation Event. Eligible Administrative and Staff
employees include those with an overall annual performance rating of Achieves or
better and who have not received a PBP award in the two preceding years. This includes
Administrative and Staff employees on regular and temporary appointments. Administrative
and Staff paid from contracts, grants or self-supporting sources will be treated
the same as those paid from state-funded accounts. New employees on their initial
6 month probationary period are not eligible.
