11/26 study group for last test in lecture portion of Critical thinking
11/27 no class due to Thanksgiving
Assignments are due at the BEGINNING of class on the date indicated. Quizzes and assignments are all worth 10 points each. Class grade is out of 100 points. This means there are 20 more points available than required for a perfect grade. Points may be deducted for lack of class participation. Due to the fact there are more points available than necessary, there will be no make up quizzes.
Thought experiments are one to two page papers on a hypothetical situation that will be given in class. The purpose of these experiments is to get the student to apply some of the critical thinking ideas presented in the previous two chapters. These assignments must be typed, double spaced, using twelve-point (12) font with one-inch margins. Your work must be your own as cheating and plagiarism will be dealt with according to the policies in the USF undergraduate handbook.
Students are required to be on time to class. Late students will not be admitted. Use of cell phones is not permitted during class. Students may lose points if cell phones go off in class.
