FINANCIAL AID - UNDERGRADUATE

The Department of Physics has a number of undergraduate OPS positions and a Tuition Scholarship.  The OPS positions can be applied for when they are vacated by current students.  The positions are subject to the availability of funds.  The Tuition Scholarship is offered annually.

Undergraduate OPS Positions

General Physics Stockroom Assistant. 

This is typically a 20 hour a week position.  Usually Physics Juniors and Seniors are considered.  The position involves assisting the General Physics Lab Supervisor. 

Electronics Repair Shop Assistant

This is typically a 20 hour a week position.  Usually Physics Juniors and Seniors are considered.  The position involves assisting the Physics Electronics Engineer. 

Physics Office Assistant

This is typically a 20 hour a week position.  Usually Physics Juniors and Seniors are considered.  The position involves assisting the Physics Office Manager.

General Physics Help Desk Tutors (Several Positions)

This is typically a10 hour a week position.  Only Physics Seniors are considered.  The position involves tutoring General Physics Students in a walk-in help desk office.

Physics Department Website Assistant

This is typically a 10 hour a week position.  Usually Physics Juniors and Seniors are considered.  The position involves assisting the Physics Department Webmaster develop and maintain the Physics Department Website.

Undergraduate Scholarship

The Aboly-Foundation Scholarship

This is a $500 - $750 tuition scholarship that is open to declared Physics Juniors and Seniors. Several Awards per year.
