The College of Arts and Sciences Office of Research and Scholarship provides numerous resources for faculty through various initiatives.

Grant Writing Assistance: CAS faculty writing workshops, access to the Shimberg Library electronic resources and the USF Grant Writing Center.

TRAIN: The Research Administration Improvement Network, better known as TRAIN, aims to build the research support infrastructure by enhancing the professional competencies of those who contribute to the research enterprise, implementing training and education, improving business processes and reporting, and enhancing communication within the research community.

Research Policies (IRB): Be sure to check this page often as it contains any new policies and guidelines implemented by USF and funding agencies.

Internal Awards: There are two programs to obtain seed money for research projects: the College of Arts and Sciences Internal Awards Program, and USF Internal Awards Program
