Grant Writing Assistance
USF Summer Grant Writing Workshops are not being offered in 2012 – this time is being used to revamp and re-tool for Summer 2013
>>The USF Summer Grant Proposal Writing Workshops have been funded by the USF Office of Research for the past eight years. This successful training series walks research faculty through the proposal writing and peer review process. The end product for many participating faculty is a competitive proposal that is ready for submission. 2011 Summer Grant Writing Workshops schedule has 9 sessions (5 core + 4 supplemental) in three tracks, each specific to NIH, NEH and NSF. During the past eight years, the USF Office of Research and Innovation has invested up to $40,000 a year for this worthwhile summer program. The return on investment is reflected in the 752 compelling proposals submitted, totaling more than $225 million in competitive proposals, which has yielded 277 awards with more than $54 million in award dollars. Though the summer workshops are coordinated by the CAS Office of Research and Scholarship, it is open to all USF faculty, graduate students and research staff.
