Bio Information :: Joe Floyd, WST Collection Development Librarian


Joe Floyd

 

 

Summary of Qualifications:

Joe Floyd is a native of Tampa (born in Ybor City), Joe holds B.A.'s in Anthropology and Psychology and a Master's in Library & Information Sciences from USF. Since joining the professional staff at USF Library in 1985, Joe has been the Collection Development Librarian for the Department of Women's Studies. Joe has had poems published in the Tampa Bay Review. He has served as the Poetry Editor and member of the Board of Directors for "The Tampa Bay Review" and was the Former Editorial Board member for "Transforming Traditional Libraries."

"I've worked with the faculty and students of Women's Studies (and loved doing it) since before it was a degree granting program and watched it grow into a full-fledged department."
